Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Here at Bethesda Christian Fellowship, we believe that evangelism is every Christian’s calling. However, we realize that all soldiers need training, encouragement and support if they are to do their job well. Because of that, we devote much time and teaching to evangelism.
Teaching:
We frequently have guest speakers – soldiers with experience in the field – come and encourage us with their knowledge of soul winning. Our Pastors also make evangelism a central focus in their sermons as they encourage us to see sinners the way Christ sees them.
Evangelism doesn’t just consist of organized church projects. It has to do with the silent example and verbal witness of Christ in our everyday lives. However, few of us find that walking up to strangers and asking them about the state of their soul comes naturally. For this reason we often engage as a church in door-to-door ministry and street evangelism. These times provide excellent opportunities for us to gain "practice" sharing our faith. They also set an excellent example for our children to emulate as they watch their fathers and elders share their faith, and begin sharing theirs as well
Weekly Events:
Beginning April 6th, we will once again be meeting at Park Central Square at 7pm every Friday night for street evangelism.
